The offer of the vip lounge in exchange for our taking an interior room with no window was very nice. The view from the vip lounge made up for it. All services were courteous and efficient.
Location is great!
The room was not clean and the airconditioning did not function well.
The location was proably the best thing about the Long Wharf Marriot. Located right next to the bay meant that you could walk right up to the New England Aquarium and hop on various harbor tour boats or whale watching tours. It is also right next to attractions like Faneuil Hall which I thought was nice. As far as transportation, the Blue Line T-stop was also coveniently located right next to the hotel which was a huge plus. There was a lot of construction going on in the hotel while I stayed there. Improvements to the fitness center and lobby would definitley be a plus.
The interior did feel a bit dated but then again, a lot of construction was going on so I suspect there will be a lot of improvements soon.
Location for boat excursions and location to Quincy Market is fantastic.
The Hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment so is a little stark right now. Only other comment is that noise carries inside the hotel, so at the weekend we were awakened in the middle of the night by revellers returning after a night out.
Wi-Fi is expensive and unreliable. The hotel is undergoing major refurbishment, which should have been notified prior to booking and rates adjusted accordingly.
The staff was excellent, especially Connie on the desk when we arrived.
Nothing, it was fantastic
Great location. Nice facility.
Seems a little expensive, but could be normal for Boston.
Location was perfect for us. Near north end for meals,Fanieul Hallfor shopping, and the Garden (Celtics).
We liked the location able to walk to the New England Aquarium and shopping
We were expecting a king bed and ended up with two doubles when we asked for a discount they flat out said no. The room we stayed in # 610 smelled like cigarette smoke. The hot tub was not working for the two nights 3 days we were there. When we asked we were basically told that it wasn't going to be fixed. Not very professional for a big expensive hotel. My vehicle was scratched sitting in the valet parking garage. We were very disappointed in the breakfast we had at the hotel restaurant. We were charged $9.90 for two cups of coffee and $9.90 for two extremely small glasses of juice so when we got our bill with eggs benedict and hash and eggs it was $55.00 quite pricey for what we received. We were very disappointed this is the first getaway we had done all year and had high expectations from what we saw online.
Easy access to attractions. Nice overall.
Overpriced but consistent with other hotels in area.
Food, staff, location, can't be beat
The hotel was very nice. Great location, very, very clean, comfy beds.
One negative was the overpriced breakfast - which we skipped. Refuse to pay $10.00 for oatmeal. Second negative was the overpriced parking fee ($50.00).
I love the location close to Little Italy and Market.
Lovely hotel with access to many Boston sites: aquarium, imax, Fanueil Hall and Quincy Market, harbor tours, North End - all in walking distance.
Okay, the toilet didn't flush very well in room 614.
Very large, impersonal. They messed up our reservation preference and offered an inferior room. Eventually they found a room that matched our reservation but it didn't inspire confidence in their commitment to service and they offered us nothing for the inconvenience. Room was fine, ordinary. Bathroom quite small but adequate. Don't understand the concept of "interior" rooms with no outside windows but if you're willing to accept that, they will throw in extras, no wonder. Location convenient for Quincy Market and the North End, Aquarium. Legal Seafood restaurant right outside the hotel which is nice.
